BIOARA Co., Ltd. is a producing, processing, distributing and exporting company of Cordyceps Militaris in Seoul Korea. In our plantation, which is strictly managed producing and selling our new varieties (Ara 301: High Cordycepin containing varieties) applied for the Korea Seed & Variety Service. Currently, our company produces and supplies about 70% of the domestic market for Cordyceps raw materials. “Cordyceps, a mystic medicinal mushroom that grows insects as nutrients, which is more effective than red ginseng” BIOARA's raw materials and products of cordyceps are very high in cordycepin. In addition, BIOARA guarantees NO heavy metal, NO bacteria. Our products use special fermentation technology and have a good effect of absorbing effective substance and getting quick effect when ingested. Therefore, we have been recognized in overseas countries such as USA, Japan and Vietnam, and now we are exporting raw materials for pharmaceutical companies and processed products to those countries.

‘BONCHOWI’, a compound word which combines the Chinese word 本草(Boncho), meaning ‘medical herb’, and 衛(wi), eaning ‘to guard and protect’, contains the meaning of preventing illness and preserving health through oriental medicine.
The word ‘wi’ also contains the meaning of ‘and more’ in Korean, so ‘BONCHOWI’is a “premium Cordyceps” brand with the meaning of ‘medical herb and more’.
